Even before COVID, virtually fifty percent of rural older people went without having dental care

Rural grown ups are fewer possible than their urban peers to see a dentist for preventative therapies, according to the CDC.

Millions of rural inhabitants have not found a dentist in over a 12 months, a current CDC report reveals.

In 2019, ahead of the coronavirus pandemic pressured dentists to shut down, 42 percent of older people in rural places did not get dental care, in accordance to the study. In urban places, about a third of adults did not see a dentist that yr.
