Spokane City Council President announces cancer analysis, go away to complete remedy

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Town Council President, Breean Beggs, announced his most cancers analysis at Monday’s meeting.

Beggs explained he will be taking a leave of absence to finish chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

He was diagnosed with cancer in June and soon just after experienced a tumor taken out from his tonsil.

“This treatment is fatiguing, but it will be value it to get back again to my life and the individuals I appreciate,” Beggs reported in a assertion on Facebook.

Councilwoman Candace Mumm will be the City Council President Pro-tem right until Beggs returns.

“She and our committed workers will continue to keep me knowledgeable and I will go on to target on my best priorities for the Metropolis,” Beggs said. “I appreciate your views and assistance through this time and know that I am surrounded with remarkable relatives and buddies.”

Beggs’ depart will contimnue through August and September.
